6.3. The Mystical Kingdom of the Lord with His Chosen People; His Teachings, in the Spirit of Obedience

Again and again My grace clothes you in its work from above, sons, oh, again and again it strengthens you; and I clothe you in word, for a great mystery is the word uttered by My mouth between heaven and earth; and let you seek not to forget the power of the uttered word, so that you may be able to take care of words if you are Mine, for you are My fulfilled word and you have power through word; and therefore be full of holy care with your mind for what it gives itself to think or to work or to bring forth out of itself as words uttered and unweighed or not passed through My grace, oh, for I have had much people from the beginning of My trumpeting through Virginia; but as much as it was, so much did it also grow fewer if it did not take care of the fulfilment of My word over it, or of the uttering of the words of their mouth, of their mind, oh, and they were not wise for the things from above over them through My work as their Shepherd; and with God it is not possible just anyhow upon the way of man’s life, but faith full of obedience and of holy love is needed; and behold, man cannot be with God just anyhow upon the way of his life if he does not first learn how he can be God’s, lest, not knowing, he lose himself from the way and walk alongside and no longer have over him My hand, My sheltering, My patience which is for him.

Oh, you must not forget for a moment that My grace which works over you is only for the humble ones, and who do not seek for themselves some praise, some right, some merit of their own; but all the merit remains only to the work of the grace over them, for it is written that God sets Himself against those who take pride and who seek merits, growing haughty; but those who humble themselves before Him and before men, those receive the work and the power of My grace working over them.

Therefore, it is My grace which works over you; and you, remain in humility, sons, for the Lord is at work, it is not you who can or who work; and you, remain within reverence at every moment and strengthen over you and among you a reverent mind and behaviour and clean and humble looks, without which temptations and trials would bend you, with which you would have to fight and would weaken the grace and its working, or would weaken the fellow men around, as happens among the sons of men, oh, sons.

Behold how much soundness of humility you must carry within you and over you at every moment, oh, and there is no man more beautiful and more wise than the man humble of heart and of behaviour and of reverent obedience, but with great faith that everything is possible in Christ, oh, and only in Christ should you stand and work, My sons of today, for your cross is beautiful when you carry it with Me; and I shine with My grace over you, and many call you blessed and honour you through My grace working and so working through you, only take holy care of the soundness of the humility of the heart, oh, sons.

Oh, peace to you, peace, sons, just as I want the peace and the beautiful behaviour which those who often come into the citadel shall understand more and more, being near Me and supporting now and then the preparing of the celebrations and then the settling in at the celebration!

Oh, sons, everything must be as in heaven in the midst of the people of My word; and those still have much and many things to learn who prepare themselves for Me through this great school of My teaching for those who are taught; and behold, it is as at school in My citadel for those who come into the citadel; and when you come to sit at the classes at school you must be attentive with a working alertness, because you are also called out to the blackboard to tell the lesson of the day; and so it is worked in the citadel when guests come to sit at school and at teaching, and by no means for them to bustle from one place to another as between the hours of learning.

Here one comes to learn, to the teacher, to grow, to be formed as a man after My image and likeness, a man born from above, from God; and therefore I always put teaching upon the table as at school, so that all may learn to be beautiful and sensible with their behaviour, with awe, with humility, with the standing before the Lord as befits schoolchildren who learn well how to work, how to stand, how to behave.

When you come to help under the heaviness of My work, come with awe, come with humility full of giving and of gratitude, not as at your own home, oh Christian, oh, for behold, I had to stop many from coming any more, for they were coming with their own things and were remaining in them, oh, and they were not entering as at school to learn, and they were not attentive and eager for God and for those from heaven, with whom I come and sit at table with those from the citadel at the feasts, oh, and one does not enter and does not sit just anyhow at table with the Lord and with His companions.

I, the Lord, know what it means for the Christian to be fulfilled, that is, one with Me, whole through the holy communion, and then with the care to remain within Me with his whole behaviour at every moment before Me and in the citadel; and those who give themselves to draw near must not do this for something else, but only so as to have wholeness as a son of the people of My word, a son with full spiritual powers through the holy communion every day; only that, behold, something else happens with the love within them, for first they come, and only then I and Mine; and therefore I, the Lord, do not have a people with full power, I do not have a fulfilled Christian so that I may be able through him and out of him, and not always he be the one who can; and again I say and I have said before, for I have had to grow accustomed to seeking to do the will of the one who seeks his own will, for otherwise the Christian does not want to be Mine fully, oh, and he even judges Me for his discontents, after he hastens to draw near for the denying of self; but on the contrary, he gives himself to stumble over the mistakes of those around and then to be understood, and by no means to learn to be humble and tried for the work of humility.

Oh, Christian who want with God and who give yourself to be near, do not seek your own interest, do not seek how to appear before yourself, but how to be and to appear before the others, oh, and there many shame themselves; and because of the lack of humility they give themselves away when they do not expect it, oh, and therefore the school and the teaching must be loved and longed for; and therefore one comes as to school here into the citadel, and likewise one stays, as at the classes, not as in the break between the classes, oh, not so, for this is not beautiful for a Christian of this people taught by God.

I was humble and meek and I called Myself the Son of Man so as to stand within humility among fellow men; and I hid My divine origin and I did not give Myself to be known as come from heaven, for I was humble as God; and only God has humility truly working within and outside Himself. But man wants himself with a name, he wants himself made great and well seen by the others; and therefore he must learn from God a heavenly stature through birth from above, that is, taking Me as an example in everything and not longing for himself, but for God and for his fellow men, only let him believe that this is possible, that it is possible to be a son of God if he wants.

Oh, sons, take care of the speakings among you, for upon the earth men do not have this profitable care, and each one sins with his tongue, and likewise he perishes; but with you let it be as the counsel from the Scripture, that is, let yes be yes and let it be fulfilled, and let no be no; and more than this is from the devil, as it is written.

On the first day of the week again and again I am with you at a table of word, and through it I urge toward the work of the spirit of the comfort, and for this flower to unfold petal by petal and to pour out its fragrance, for the sons of heaven are those who have this work to fulfil, the spirit of the comfort, oh, sons. Oh, so work, so humble yourselves, for only the humble ones have in their leaven the mystery and the work of this spirit, which pours out its fragrance to the sides, at which the saints of heaven gather, those who worked upon the earth the spirit of the comfort, and which they have as inheritance now in the heavens, sons.

Come, let us seat ourselves, and then let us work clearings up of the mystery of the working of the grace and great understandings, oh sons, for there is no longer anyone upon the earth to want to understand the things worked by God and to seek to penetrate them with great zeal, as the prophet Elijah longed with a burning longing within him to live his life only for God and for My grace among men; and he longed for Me to work and to raise many toward work, while he no longer saw anyone to want with God, let alone that someone should still work for Me through the time. Oh, therefore how happy I, the Lord, would be to see man ask himself for what he was born upon the earth, and then to seek an answer and to follow it from behind and to find afterwards the work of My grace and to ask himself whether or not he has My grace over him.

I want you to be only Mine, and not your own as well, if you are of those who say according to the truth: «Let Your will be done, Lord, as in heaven so also upon the earth with us», for if you were not My will you would always tread upon the word which you speak to God.

Men have no love, they have none because they have no faith from which hope might then come; and behold the way toward love! When man’s love does not work wonders, it is because his prayer has no power within it, has no love within it. The Christian who does not love Me does not work wonders, and he comes toward Me out of interest, he comes for himself, not for Me, not under My cross, not for My work with him. Those who want with God, but do not love Him, those do not stay and do not remain, for the will of God troubles man, since man has his own wills, and the Lord has His own; and if man has his own wills he troubles God, Who should take account of man’s will, of his word spoken before God.

To be a man of your word, not to tread upon the word spoken with your tongue, and this is much more before God; and behold how much care is needed for this! For your prayer to be a scent with good fragrance, this is what it means for wonders to happen, to be a man of your word between you and God, for if the prayer is not love with good fragrance the fruit of faith is not shown, your prayer is cold, it is out of obligation because you are a Christian.

The earth is full of flowers of every sort, but not all of them share fragrance from the earth toward heaven. The earth is full of men and of Christians, but a scent of good fragrance does not go up to heaven when they are not true through the words of their prayers. To be a man of your word between you and God, this is what it means to be a Christian and a son of God, a child of heaven upon the earth, oh, and this is what I want to make man understand, and so that he may know afterwards how to come, how to stay, how to work a scent of good fragrance toward God through his work as a Christian, through his heart, in which God should stay with the glory and the working of His word fulfilled in the one who keeps his word before Me when he utters it so that God may fulfil it.

I would never have enough of shepherding you day and night, sons; and let you then put My counsel from among you upon the way without delay so that many may make use of it. The breath of My mouth is My word over the earth, for I have been and I am from everlasting a Being as is the Father from Whom I proceed; and I breathed in the beginning with My mouth word and I fulfilled it afterwards. The breath of man’s mouth is his prayer toward God; and man must know from God that his prayer toward the Lord is fulfilled as much as man also fulfils God’s prayer toward him.

men should not have to speak so much with one another with profit and without the danger of being condemned through their very own words, oh, they should not lose their time with the speakings among themselves; and therefore man must learn to speak more with God and from God, with heaven and from heaven, with the longing for heaven upon the earth and with great love for this mystery, oh, for you make much mistake and you commit the sin of the vanity of the mouth if you speak otherwise, oh man.

Oh, man does not want to know and then to believe that any word of his mouth does not pass without being heard and written by the writing angels, and that from his words he shall be saved or condemned, as it is written. Men should seek the glory of God as the angels do, as the saints do, for they are in danger all the time upon the earth; and they should speak with the Lord more, only that it is hard for them to believe that heaven works much upon the earth for the sheltering of the good and sensible ones, and for the setting right of the evil ones, ugly with deed and with word; and if they believed this they would be holier and would stop their mouth from the words with sin.

Men do not have My love within them, and therefore I seek to leave the will of the one who seeks his own will, for otherwise he does not want with the faith fully on My side; and man even judges Me for his discontents after he hastens to draw near; and if he comes he even stumbles, looking at the mistakes around, and then he wants himself understood; but humility does not cleave to his heart and to his mind for his sins.

Oh, behold, sons, why I said that the Christian man has not learned to lose so as to be able to be truly a Christian pleasing to Me, after My image and likeness through his humility; and therefore those who have not learned to lose are those who lose the most and who lose everything, as I have said before, for they lose their soul as well, not only their temporal things, which have no passage with God.

Oh, do not haggle with anyone and in nothing, if you are the children of God, sons. Do not haggle over another’s things between him and you. It is not beautiful to seek to gain upon the earth. It is beautiful to lose, for the one who gains is the most lost when it is a matter of his standing beside God, oh, for the Lord cannot with those who seek to have from the earth, and who can no longer be free, since they do not know what freedom is; and behold how they lose all their possessions, those caught unexpectedly by losses for the things gathered by them with unrighteousness!

I would want you to be able, Christian, to be a disciple to Me and to learn this from the Scriptures, from the preaching, from My Spirit, Who surrounds you and wraps you in the spirit of the understanding which is for disciples. I would want you too to want to give Me the work of a disciple so that I may have it in heaven on your part, for the fig tree, if it does not bear fruit, does not remain, is not of use, does not gather for itself in heaven.

Oh, what does it mean to have humility, what, indeed, does it mean? I put this question not long ago at table in the citadel and I Myself added about this heavenly wealth, about humility, for so that it may work, you must want yourself and see yourself small and content with as much as you are, and must let yourself be guided toward God for holy serving and for a walking with the cross, the walking of the humble ones; for behold, those who have no humility throw aside even the smallest counsel and murmur and set themselves against even a small reproof and choose for themselves the care of the body, for they have a small heart.

Oh, sons, let all learn no longer to sin with the tongue, with the speaking, with the working on the edge and with unhealed snake’s bites, for the guilt not brought out into the light does not heal one from falling with the tongue, oh, sons. All these weaknesses are healed through humility, through awe among fellow men, through soundness of mind, through bowing with lowliness; and to those with a small heart these counsels are of great use; and I speak so now, because I too and John suffered with the spirit for those who were losing and are losing their life and its reward because they do not have humility as their work.

I said not long ago that each one needs the other, for man is weak and has weaknesses and needs the other and needs humility, oh, sons. The one humble of heart does not complain, does not lament, does not murmur; on the contrary, he has a content spirit and has patience under the cross and walks beautifully, for life without a cross has no kind of beauty, and neither does it have payment in heaven afterwards.

Those who do not have and do not work humility all the time have nothing with which to work their eternity beside those from heaven from beside Me, for day after day the eternity of each one must be gathered above, and adorned as in heaven so that it may come out to meet each one; but behold, sons, for those upon the earth it is far too hard to pass from body into spirit and to build their eternity with every moment, together with their passing through the temporal things toward the everlasting ones, if they gather them so as to have them, and for which they should serve much more than they toil for the things needed by the body upon the earth.

I comprise now My nest of sons from the citadel of My word and I strengthen over them a blessing of making, for you, sons from the citadel, have to work over you and over the earth My will, My work with you in the midst of the men who look at you and see My blessing over you and over them through you; and you must learn from Me to make yourselves pleasing for My will over you before those who look over you and over My work with you, sons.

I said two thousand years ago a decisive word and I left it written. I said: He who wants to come after Me and to follow Me, let him deny himself and, taking up his cross, so let him come, so let him follow Me; and without the cross, no, sons.

Oh, no one wants to understand this word: the denying of self for the walking with Me afterwards. Behold, you have fulfilled that which I, the Lord, ask of those who give themselves to come after Me with their life, with their walking, with their work which is for Me and for them.

Sons, sons, there must be love between Me and the one who comes after Me through the denying of self, for if he still loves and chooses himself and remains so, it is not called that he comes. Oh, one must wait for the one who gives himself to come after Me, for he still remains in his own wills with his choices if the love which is for Me does not grow in him. He must not seek for it to be well for him with Me, but he must only choose My will as his work.

Oh, how much I would want to be able to speak with you, Christian, so that you may understand My calling and your following of Me afterwards, for man lets himself be drawn and then tempted, since he forgets that My blessing is with those who spend their life in obedience, choosing themselves all together so that I may be with them where they gather two and three and more so that their denying of self may be tested for their walking after Me.

I said: There where two and three and more are in My name, there I am too; and behold, sons, it is not possible with the will of God without the denying of self. He who seeks his own will, that one is tempted by his very own lust and his desire and he denies Me for his own will; and therefore it is not good for man to be alone, for the tempter comes, oh, sons. When someone seeks alone, the spirit comes with the temptation just as it came when I was led by the spirit into the wilderness and was tempted in every manner to separate Myself from the Father’s will and to do that of the tempter. When those in paradise sought to stay separated, the tempter came and struck them down, teaching the two to choose his will. Behold, it is not good for man to seek to be alone and without the will of God over him against his own will.

Oh, sons, how much God would have gained if the people of this word had chosen with My will for it against its own will! A little basket of twigs, a little cart, a bucket, a tool, a beast of burden let themselves be handled by man’s will; but it is hard for man to choose the will of God in the place of his own will; and behold, the most separated from the will of God is man; and therefore I urge you to seek more and more that My will may come to you for working and that you may work with faith, sons. I see how you grow troubled when I bring you word that you should work at the pearls round about in My citadel with you, for you do not have power from the earth like the men who can and who have; and when you hear from Me to work over the citadel the beauties of My heaven with you, you look upward with your thought and with your sight, and you do well, for from above it is worked over you and for you; and therefore I urge you: have faith in God, sons, and He shall work for you upon the earth; and we shall do the will of God, the sweet making, the calling of man to God through all that I do with you for those upon the earth so that we may come out to meet them, sons.

When man truly comes for his way with Me he gives himself to Me entirely, he no longer stops for himself, it no longer concerns him what shall be with him today and tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, and all the time what God shall do with him. Then the Lord prepares such a one through many trials, through many temptings and happenings; and power of love and of faith greater than until then is given to him afterwards; and the Lord uses for His works the one who denies himself for the things from heaven; and he becomes a temple for God, and this is his greatest care, and always so.

Many people have come in the time of the seventy years of word from heaven upon the earth. Some only heard and passed on, others stopped for a longer or a shorter while and went back where they came from, others did not submit beautifully as you have so as to be of use, others fell into the sin of murmuring, of speaking ill, of haughtiness from the non-denying of self, of non-submission for a beautiful spiritual life, oh, and they went away from Us and they went, sons; and those remained who loved Me, those remained who loved you with faithfulness, with growth and with the fulfilment of My teaching word over them.

Now, sons, for those remaining on the way I set in the book an urging which each one should strengthen over himself, for the time is cold for the Lord upon the earth, and it is with unbelief which no longer leaves man time for a return to a saving life, since every man has lost his mind which is for a living life within him, oh, for he is far too accustomed to the sins of death and does not look for a guide upon the way which is with the darkness of the world; and man is judged by all that has living life between earth and heaven; but who is to tell him that the trees are full of life, of sap which gives life and health for man and for his faith?

Do the trees have life in them, oh man? They do, through all that they are and work in the service of the man made by God; and the trees have being, they do, and they grow and they bear fruit and they are of use, and therefore they are. All things have life in them and are beings and give themselves for the common use; for behold, a vegetable from the garden grows, it is alive and it shares life to those around who eat it. The grain of wheat or any seed, the water, the grass, the iron, the wood, all have life and wait to be used and are givers of life, of power, of beauty, of joy, of health. But you, oh man, what are you, what do you do? What do you give to God if you grow accustomed only to commit sin and to mix it through all the other things which you still give yourself to do without any profit; for if you are of no use to God, oh, are you alive if you do not have within you life for God?

Without humility working with love the Christian does not reach Me, and he falls from the way sooner or later, since he does not have the humility of working, and he has a spirit of his own and has the habit of treading over the power of the working faith, which is seen through the work of love.

Every man needs the other, for man is weak; and behold, not even the kings are powerful, since they need servants and subjects. Can someone be a king without subjects? Oh, no, for each one has weaknesses and needs humility; and therefore I, the Lord, full of mercy for man, seek to heal him as the doctor works with the sick one and gives him medicines suited to his weakness and writes him a regimen from foods of every sort; and the sick one follows the doctor’s counsel; and behold, I too, knowing how sick man is and the soul within him, give him medicines and write him a regimen if he comes to ask Me for healing; and I teach him what to eat and what not to eat and I tell him what to keep and what not, oh, and I teach him everything for the healing of his soul and of his body afterwards, for the sicknesses come from man’s disobedience of God; and the disobedient one needs a cross, he needs it for humility.

Oh, do not seek to give others your cross to carry it for you, for each one has his own cross, and every man is frail; do not forget this, sons! Men give lists of names and paid prayers to the priests for healing of weaknesses or so that things may go well for them or so that their enemies may be tamed. Oh, sons, the priests too have their sins, their cross to carry. Behold a mistaken custom. All men seek that God may work wonders for them, for their healing, for all know that I, the Lord, worked many healings two thousand years ago and many powerless ones kept My way so that I might heal them. Oh, but I did not work so in order to heal them, but for the unbelieving ones who did not give themselves to believe. I worked through word, not with medicines or remedies, so as to heal the powerless ones. All that I worked in the midst of men was asked of Me by them, and I bowed down and served them with My power which is from the Father through word; and they gathered from everywhere and asked Me for healing; and the more men discovered Me and knew Me and believed, the more the great ones of that time gave themselves to destroy Me and feared that they would lose their power over men; and behold why they kept their unbelief before My power working through word; and behold how mindless they were, poor of them, and so powerless and fearful, poor little ones.

Peace to you, sons from the citadel! Let us teach all those who give themselves to be Mine as you are, let us teach them to have a great heart, for God is great, sons; and a small heart does not learn, cannot, does not obey, does not bow down, does not love, does not give itself to God; and even if it tries, behold, it cannot to the end and it tears itself away from the flock and goes back where it came from and becomes a joy to the devil seven times more, for unfaithfulness and wavering and the restlessness of those small with the heart and with the deed suit the devil wonderfully; and behold, he procures a fall and a perishing for the one who detaches himself from his walking with Me; and on this day of celebration for the holy Christian emperors Constantine and Helene we have a new lesson, we have to learn how we must behave toward those who have a small heart and a weak mind for the spirit of the wisdom of life, lest the hostile spirit deal out toward us too some answer hard to give to God when all things are judged according to the spirit of the righteousness from above.

We have on this day a living example to follow, and we have the emperor Constantine with his great heart, oh, sons. There was then upon the earth a time hostile to God and to those who love God, for the emperors of that time, eager for power over their subjects, had as their work the persecuting of the Christians and their torturing so as to destroy them, and lest there should be anyone who would not bow down to them alone, and by no means to God. I was looking from above at the heavy cross of the Christians with a great heart in that time, oh, and I came down to them to comfort them, to set them free, so that they might take power under the cross. I worked over the heart of the emperor, in which he had as inheritance the goodness of his father’s heart, oh, and I raised him toward faith and I revealed Myself to him; and he worked for God afterwards and gave freedom and comfort to those who followed Me with their life and with their faith and with the cross in that time; and he gave the pagan emperor to perishing, overcoming him with his army of soldiers of the cross, as he also prepared them. Oh, he destroyed the enemy of God and of the Christians, and by no means did he sit in counsel with him; and behold, he remained a victor since he worked so, for he had power and faith given to him from God.

It is a day of teaching for a clean walking, and the clean walking is with angels, sons. I have always said and I keep saying that it is not good for man to be alone. But so that those to whom I say this may believe, since they are not convinced so as to fulfil it, those must fall through this disobedience favourable to satan, who knows all the time the work of man; and only then shall these believe that the angels of God stood far off since they had nothing to write; and the disobedient ones shall see, those who did not see when they were sinning and were not obeying.

Sons, sons, those who are spoken ill of by those who have nothing better to work at, those are the ones pleasing to God with their work, with their great heart, with My work with them. Behold the difference between those with a great heart and those with a little heart, as a sign of the lack of humility of the little ones!

Oh, what does it mean to have humility? So as to have this heavenly wealth you must feel yourself and see yourself small, and you must be content with as much as you are, and then let yourself be used for serving with awe before God and for a walking with the cross, and by no means without the cross; for behold, those who have no humility throw off from upon them even the smallest burden of the cross and set themselves against even a small reproof and value their body more than their soul; and they do not like the walking with the cross, they do not like the falling under the cross; and if they do not like it they lose the cross, they lose the resurrection, they lose life and they keep losing until they have nothing left to lose.

As often as you have the occasion, open your hearing and let the Spirit examine you within and without, so that you may gather joys for the time which is coming, for a beautiful time gives itself to come, and it is not possible for you to be just anyhow for it; and he who shall not resemble that time shall not remain in it. I come from heaven and I teach you with longing to resemble Me; and therefore I give Myself to accustom you to stay awake and alive at the teaching, and confessors of My glory over you, for the Holy Spirit the Comforter brings to you from the things of His own, oh, sons.

I prepare separately those who are My people of today and I tell them always: Remain within My love, remain within Me! And those who cannot do so, those are beggars and they walk here and there from end to end, from door to door and from some to others all the time, and even in their time of prayer, when their mind roams elsewhere; and hardly do they come back to speak with the Lord when they read their Christian rule and their work as sons of God, their bond with the Shepherd from above, Who comes to prepare His flock separately.

Oh, sons, I have set a calendar of living for those who choose to walk with Me on the way with a new walking of New Jerusalem, and by no means with idleness, for with idleness they find themselves something else to do; and those cannot be joined to the ones who work for God and for His walking of this time; and examination is needed on the days of gathering at the spring, and the primer for this holy school of My new people must be understood and followed.

Thirty-five years ago, when I came out above with the glory of My announcing word over the earth, I set for sight the little white stone, the mysterious ark in the little garden of My word; and under the foundation stone was placed the charter in which was written the living of the new people, which shall be built upon this word of testimony with a new life, full of the fruit of holiness, without which no one can become a son of God and of this new people, in the midst of which I, the Lord, am at table as body and as word and I speak and share out counsel and give notice of My works and am alive and full of speaking, just as My shared-out word testifies about Me at table with those from the citadel prepared by Me and by them, and over whom I am with the heaven and with those from heaven at table with them, with My saints, who are full of longing to come with Me to them, into My citadel with them.

Those who left the preparation which is for Mine, those are not known; and let them not look toward you after they have stayed in their own wills for so long a time unknown and unseen and unrecognized with their walking, with their spirit, with their behaviour, with their faith, oh, for those who believe must not believe just anyhow, but faith with seen fruit is needed, for I said to those at My table with them two thousand years ago and I told them: «He who feeds on My body and My blood, that one remains within Me, and I remain within him». Oh, if I said so, what shall those at My table with them understand? These must show Me working in them and through them, if I am and remain within them.

Oh, sons, I recall now the preparation which I made two thousand years ago for those with whom I shared the Passover on the evening of the supper so as to give Myself to them and to remain with them so until the end, as I also promised them; for I prepared them beforehand then and I Myself washed their feet, with which they trod upon the earth so defiled from place to place by the sinful things of men; and I told them after the washing to do among themselves too that which I had done for them; and so I taught them the cleansing of every filth so that they might be clean, and I taught them to wash themselves all the time, and to have love as a guard over them and among them. Behold, first I washed them, I cleansed them, and only then were they seated at My table with them.

Therefore I now say to those who want to force the gates, after they have stayed unknown through the world with their steps, and I tell them: Do not force the gates, do not utter words of threatening, do not call to account those who obey Me in all that they have to work from Me! Do not force them to work that which you give them to work for you! They are not allowed to do something from themselves, or from you, for they stand between Me and the people of My word; and here it is a matter of those who are cleansed and who cleanse themselves for My table, with obedience of the laws of holiness and with the fulfilment of the things asked of those seated at My table in the wedding garment, and who must no longer spoil their stature and their walking, but on the contrary, they must take care to be an example to be followed by one another and by those who know them as Mine, for otherwise they would spoil one another again and again and would crucify Me anew for themselves, as it is written in the word of the Scripture which speaks about this.

I shepherd you and I teach you the working faith from generation to generation up to you, sons. There is no longer faith upon the earth, and I am coming, and I no longer see men who know or who learn faith and its working; and they follow after those who announce to all about the day of tomorrow. But you, do not follow after the things the world follows after, for the time and its working are under My dominion from everlasting to everlasting, sons.

Tens of years ago work was still done through faith when a black and threatening cloud of hail appeared in the sky and the bell-ringer of the citadel would go and take hold with his hand of the rope of the church bell; and the bell was a prayer of the faithful ones of the citadel, and the dangerous cloud would scatter at the prayer of the bell and at the faith of the Christians who drove away the hail and the torrents of the waters and of the storms, for there was faith.

Oh, so you too, do not forget the work of the faith of those who left behind prayers and customs of many kinds, such as the ringing of the bells or the marking in the earth with the blade of the axe thrust in the sign of the holy cross with that prayer which tells the earth to be harder than the stone, oh, and the clouds with hail would break and would scatter; and behold how great is the work of faith and the holy customs left by those who prayed in every manner with sacrifice toward God for mercy; but today no one wants any longer to look toward the forefathers and to believe as they did between themselves and God.

All men give themselves to speak of everything with one another when they meet, oh, and their meeting and their speaking among themselves brings them no profit. And why is that so?

Oh, sons, the meeting between men is not like the one which was at the well of Israel between Me and the daughter of Samaria, to whom I came out in the way so as to give her salvation. There it was spoken about sins, about the things which separate men from God and about the repairing of this separation. My urging for her was to make her cleanse her heart of the sin in which the daughter of Samaria was living with the steps of her life; and I came out in her way and I spoke with her about her sins, about the thirst for living water, with which man must wash his sins through the speaking between God and him, between him and God, and between man and man.

Behold how much power the spirit of haughtiness has in man, sons! We look and we see the greatness of this sin over man. Man does not like to humble himself, he does not like to make this bowing even for his sins and to escape the guilt which is from sin. Man is not accustomed to the work of his cleansing, and therefore man with man does not speak about the sins which each one commits in every manner all the time, and then he buries them within himself and remains under sin.

The work which I worked at the well of the washing is the one which ought to make workers of the Christians who choose themselves for God, and confessors for God; but first they should put off from upon them their sins, for man sins all the time, and behold, all the time he is without God and without the love of God and therefore he sins; but the love for God makes man cleanse himself of sin so as to choose himself afterwards on the side of the confession of God upon the earth, as proof that he has chosen himself for God with his life; and he who does not confess God so as to gather confessing fruit, that one does not prove that he has the Lord as his love.

Be workers with much grace and with unbound tongue between brother and brother, and with much and great humility of spirit and of body speak with one another when you meet, so as to cleanse one another of the things which separate you from God, oh sons. Let there be no separation among you, let there be no coldness and no idleness either, for you are blessed for the work of the new man, and of this work you should not be deprived between brother and brother; and always begin with humility every work of your brotherly meetings in the name of the spiritual speakings for the forgiveness of sins, oh, sons, for meetings of another sort are without fruit of everlasting life and they are time lost in vain.

I said in the time of the work of My word of seventy years that through this work I give forgiveness to the creature which has been, so as to have them all beside Me and beside the Father; but those who forsake Me today with unbelief, oh, what, then, shall become of them?

Why, sons, why do these partings happen? Because of the trampling over the fulfilment of My word, for it is written that disobedience and insubmission are for those who work them more harmful than the devil who walks everywhere and smears their way and their life and their body and their work and their spirit with all his incantations and charms upon the men of the earth; and those who love listen and submit to My love, and this love heals man of sin, him who does not choose himself in exchange for Me for his life; and behold, the most painful partings are with those who part from God, and they do this because they do not know Me, because they do not listen to Me, and therefore they part from God, for when the venom of unbelief enters man it attacks everything in him drop by drop; and I want to urge you, sons, to guard yourselves from this venom, for it enters through the ears and attacks you either all at once or drop by drop, if you do not know how to guard yourselves from the things which give themselves to part you from God and to make the parting hurt you afterwards and to carry you from beside Me upon dangerous ways full of satan and of hell, for love forsaken takes its revenge, sons.

Oh, sons, learn all of you no longer to receive evil speakings which cannot be proved. Be wise, you who are so weak with steadfastness. Do not rely upon the things scattered by those who give themselves to part you from Me and to make you also become like the world full of venomous serpents, as the payment of those unbelieving and not loving God and heaven upon the earth. Read in the Scriptures and you shall find in them that a new Jerusalem comes down from heaven into the midst of the world without God and that a people of New Jerusalem is born.

Oh, how easily man slips, sons! Behold how weak man can be, poor of him! Therefore you need a counsellor, for woe to those who have found Me, and then put Me away from over their life! What more can they be who set God aside for their own wills? Therefore seek with a word of watch over you, for the days are with great temptations, and they fall over men, they fall over those without God as Shepherd over them.

Sons, sons, do not follow words thrown out by those who throw God away from over them. They fall under a curse, those who throw the Lord away, they fall into the hand of satan, as it is written. You must know from Me these evil works of those who grow wicked, as the payment of their disobedience toward God.

Oh, sons, the sin of unbelief is heavy, and this sin is far heavier upon those who try themselves with it after they find Me and believe Me through this word. The casting off of faith has come also to some who walked somehow after the walking which I, the Lord, set over the sons of the people of My word. There fall from among those who came and made as though they also walked, they fall like Judas who walked at the side, not in a brotherly step, oh, and they fall, falling into doubt if they worked at the edges two by two, three by three, poisoning one another, defiling one another’s hearts with slandering words, with a spirit of judgment upon My walking with the cross carried with the sons of this people; and some of these even defiling one another’s bodies as ones whom satan then works after his own taste.

Behold, all the things worked by those who worked well or ill beside this spring of word are chosen to the right and to the left. Unbelief makes darkness in man, and it begins with doubt, oh, and he who works and stays in the darkness is no longer beautiful, and he makes himself ugly in face and in word, for in darkness you see everything only black; and so works the sin of unbelief when man falls into it.

Sons, sons, there are so many testimonies from the time of the work of My word in the midst of this people at the end of time; and behold, those who have chosen themselves to the left for a life lived as the world does, in the freedom of a will without God over it, oh, it is no longer given to them to remember and to keep their faith any longer, for faith remains the gift of those who remain in the spirit of faithfulness, no longer scattering themselves to take from the sides for the power of their faith.

I come with healing, I come with counsel of a sound life in your body, Christian shepherded from heaven. Oh, only I, only the Lord is all that you can have, and with Whom you remain. Therefore I called you and counselled you to give yourself to God and to feed yourself with Him and to learn how to be so that the Lord may be able to give Himself to you, and then to keep yourself with care so as not to lose Him and so as not to lose yourself from Him.

Oh, behold what you have to do, Christian shepherded from heaven: you have to fulfil the commandment of eternal life, and which teaches you and tells you to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with your soul, with all your mind, and just so to do also for your neighbour; and this work of yours is never lost and it gathers and is all yours afterwards, for if you have God you have everything and you have it for ever. You must learn well this wise work, not merely to know by heart the words of this commandment which gives eternal life, but to work them with the steps of your life, oh, and you need neither money, nor wealth, nor standing, nor anything else to be able to have this whole treasure, after which, behold, no one walks any more upon the earth, for all men have been spoiled and are being spoiled to the last one and they lose their mind and walk empty of all that is good and holy; and men make themselves places of debauchery among themselves and of the caressings of the body, oh, and no one any longer knows the face and the taste of holy modesty, and they gather in heaps upon the banks of the waters, utterly stripped; and at other times they go and do sport of every kind like the devils in hell who torment themselves and torment men in every manner, oh, and men have nothing in heaven because of the losing of the time of the body only upon the taste of the spirit of the world and of the enemy satan, who gives himself to wrap them all in happinesses of every kind, and waits for them at the crossroads to draw them and to show them all sorts of happinesses and merrymakings and tastes; and I, the Lord, carry Myself upon the clouds and speak over the earth and come out into the way of man lied to by the spirit of the world, and I tell him that all that gives itself to delight him upon the earth leads him toward hell, toward the weeping and the gnashing of teeth, as it is written.

Oh, Christian man, receive Me also to speak to you, and then let us love one another and be comfort to one another in the straits upon the earth, and clothing from heaven in bad weather; and let Me be salt and sweetness of the heart to you, let Me be a heavenly word and divine knowledge to you in this time full of idols of every kind and of snares and of venomous serpents and of charms poured out everywhere and of spells which change man in his mind; and behold, I stand in your way to be support to you and to beg you with tears to forsake sin and its lures, which kill you drop by drop, step by step, and to teach you not to part from Me for your own will, which does not lead you toward God; but rather accustom yourself to do My will, to love God with all you do upon the earth, oh, and you shall be happy after you have tasted to the full of this sweet and always sweet life; for if you take only a little from yourself, the spirit of the world lies in wait for you and takes you and carries you aside so that you may do your own will.

Oh, sons shepherded with a word from heaven, peace to you on a day of the feast of healing over you! Take care and do not forget now the guarding of your gardens and of your houses, just as the Romanian forefathers dedicated after the Holy Passover nine Tuesdays and nine Thursdays as a sacrifice for the sheltering from heaven over their households and over their gardens and over themselves, that no overflowing waters might come over the sowings and no hail over the fruits, and no lightning and thunderbolts; and behold, men do not want to give this sacrifice, oh, and they lose far more, and they have no prayer and no sacrifice toward heaven. But you, take this obedience remaining from the fathers, and stop in these nine Tuesdays and nine Thursdays, and do not sew, do not knit, do not wash clothes, do not iron upon cloths, do not strike with the hammer or with stone, do not go in to work the gardens, do not make great noise with the working tools; and I, the Lord, shall bring you increase in the other days of the week and you shall be blessed for your obedience, sons.

Sons, sons, take holy care of your love of this day, great for you, you who today have entered at a table of a new Passover, renewed through the word. This day is your going out from your old man, and your entering at a table of a new Passover and into fellowship with Me, with Him Who loved you upon the cross on which He gave Himself as a Lamb slaughtered for all those who shall love Him for ever afterwards, not one day, not two, not now and then, but for ever they with Me, and I with them. And wherever they shall be and shall work, they are Mine, and I theirs, their power, their sheltering, all in exchange for their holiness among men upon the earth; and all those who see them shall understand that they have light, they have brightness, they have what those have not who are empty of Christ; for as the Father has loved Me, so I also love you, oh, and I have spoken a great word now for you, sons renewed through grace and through My love beside yours, for love drives out fear, so it is written.

Oh, remain, sons, in My love, for it is written of this time of the end that the love of many shall grow cold, and this shall be as a sign that Christ draws near in glory; and many shall be found naked, many without a garment, many without Christ. Therefore be clothed in love all the time, and keep always this season over you, the season of love, sons, My coming to you, all for you and all the time between Me and you, and between you and Me, I in you and you in Me, just as I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me all the time, oh, sons; and so let it be also between Me and you, and remain you in My love, upon its heights, not at its foot; and for this place you must have zeal, for I, the Lord, seek this from you, oh, sons.

It pains Me from the people shepherded so many tens of years, and I await its love, Mother. But it sews, washes, mends, paints, knits, hoes, eats and drinks, makes itself joys as upon the earth, oh, and it no longer comes even if it comes, for at My table cannot sit those who are only called, but from among them only those who choose themselves with faithfulness until the end through their table with Me, and Mine with them; and these are the sons of heaven upon the earth, called, chosen and faithful, sons of God after spirit and after grace in My time with them, and after My sign which is over them and within them, after My word which is over them and after My table of supper between Me and them, My mother.

Oh, sons shepherded with My word, come and then remain in My love, which set itself upon the cross for you that it might give itself to you and that you might have God to the full, and God might have you!

Be fulfillers of My word which is over you, oh, sons. I still have many things to call to your mind so that you may work them for your likeness to Me; but until you sit at table with Me, in vain do I await you to be Mine. You shall be able to do this if you shall not be too much for yourselves, and far too little for Me; and if My waiting is drawn out still further, the angel comes as in the time of the flood and shuts the door from outside, and you shall remain with the memory that I called you for a long time, that you tarried and remained only for yourselves, and all in vain.

I desire for you grace from heaven to gather you and to make you wise and to give you birth again and again, for My word has been much and always over you, but it has found no answer from you and you have tarried with the preparation which is for Me and you have remained tarrying.

Oh, but with those who loved Me and chose Me and set themselves under My cross of today, with those I remain and I tell them again and again: Remain in My love, sons! Enrich yourselves with it and in it, for the man upon the earth had only this to work, but he did not give himself to understand why he is and what is with him.
